K-pop fandom 02

There's nothing exciting about my life, and actually, I'm trying to organize my hard disk. When I started I had 3.6GB free memory, from... 380GB. The amount of usage I can fulfill is endless and I can do it very fast. Then I decided: NO MORE DOWNLOAD OR ANY STORAGE UNTIL I ORGANIZE.
It's been a week and a half I'm working on, and now it's 10.1GB free. Deleting doubles, getting rid of things I never use or even don't remember, and believe me, there's still a ton of things to see.
Now I'm having a little break to check online things, and is so tempting to see what's going on with my favorite artists, but I know that IF I DO IT, I'll want to save some pics and things like that. So no celebrity news for me now... T_T.
But let's go to the point: something about my k-pop fandom today. Well, for this post I decided to talk about my latest BIG PASSION: INFINITE.
It was a big crush since the first time I saw them. It was at their debut performance at Inkigayo. I watched and thought: "WOW! How they are so coordinated! It's a catchy song, the choreography is so different from what's around!".
At that moment, taking a fast look at them, Woohyun, L, Sungjong and Hoya where on spot to watch later and see who was going to become my favorite.
Searching for them, I found the single, and the MV. Watching that over and over and over and over again, I had a hard decision to make: L or Sungjong. Hoya is charming, but too much manly for my diva-taste. Woohyun is fabulously gorgeous, but somewhat, lack on something I can't explain. Even thinking he is the most handsome between them all, he's not my favorite one, and is actually at 3rd place.
Ah, L-sama's lips and eyes... and all Sungjong's diva-glamour...  what a hard choice! T_T
At the end, actually, L-sama's 1st and Sungjong's 2nd.
I was with them all their way to success, got their singles/albums, and watched them grow as artists and men. And I'm so proud of them, because they deserve. They have a strict agenda, and work very hard from the moment they wake up, until they go to sleep again, and since their debut, they are promoting non-stop.

Here is my L-sama at their debut song "Come back again", just adorable... <3

At "She's back" promotion. Awn... just so happy and smily.

Ah, the "BTD" promo... no words can describe how amazing they were doing their famous "scorpion dance" movement synchronized.

All the cuteness from their "Nothing's Over" promotion... XD

And promoting the bittersweet "Can You Smile", acoustic version. He was so... beautifully poetic playing acoustic guitar... <33

"Be Mine", the song they got their first #1 song award!

OMG! His sexy back! "Paradise" and a hyperventilating me... LOL.

The sweetest thing at "White Confession". Can he be more sweet? Only time will tell... XDD

"The Chaser"... ah, can I chase you forever?

After winning their first "Triple Crown" award, they said goodbye to Infinitize album promotions with the lovely "In the summer". They all seem so happy singing that song that is so adorable to don't love them.

I want to make a post with everything about them... but actually, with my cleaning and organizing, I don't have the time and patience to do it... to tell the truth, I almost gave up making this post while trying to find those pics... LOL. My L-sama folder contains MORE than 12.000 files, so just think about searching anything there... XDD. But I'm just too megalomaniac when is about collecting photos...

Time to go back to my organizing... T_T.

See you soon!

Ah, before I forget: Infinite's Youtube Official Channel, just in case you want to watch all their perfection!

J-pop fandom

Talking about jpop is something hard to show. I mean, JE (Johnny's Entertainment) don't let ANY of their artists videos around, ANYWHERE. They take everything out, I had 2 Youtube accounts canceled just because I uploaded some videos. And I'm not alone, I have some friends that had the same problem.
Then the only thing I can TRY to make is post a pic or two, and it's still a risk.
For other artists, a lot of those I listen/like are from AVEX. Well, they're just a LITTLE less annoying than JE. They have a Youtube channel, BUT, they only upload short versions/teasers. And I don't even know if the video stays there for a long time or not.
These said, let's talk about how it begun... XD

One night, I think it was Saturday/Sunday night, I was living in Japan, my brother were out for work, and I was alone at the apartment, doing some cleaning, with the TV on. Then the Japan Countdown started and I stopped to take a look. I was really curious about japanese music, as I was living there for like... 3 or 4 months, and really didn't know anything about their music yet.

They show a Top 50 or something like, with just a piece of the videos, but it's interesting if you just want to have a overall look. Well, two artists made me pay more attention and try to remember their names: Exile and Dragon Ash. That night, when I was at my brother's computer, I made a quick search about them, but it was really hard to find.
The songs were: Exile's "Real World"  and Dragon Ash's "Shade". It took me some weeks to find them in mp3 to listen the full songs. But I really loved them. Exile is a very unique group, at that time, they had 2 singers and 4 dancers. Now they are so many I don't have any idea... LOL. Over the years they added another dancer, changed one of the main vocals, and then united with the second generation of JSoul Brothers, and now they are releasing a single with the name Exile Tribe, with 2nd and 3rd JSoul Brother's groups and more people, in a total of 24 men... Oo.
Drangon Ash was something really similar to Incubus with that song, that's why I loved that so much. But their style changes a bit from single to single, but basically they are an alternative rock band.

But my real fandom thing started with the Shuuji to Akira fever that took Japan with the Nobuta wo Produce drama. "Seishun Amigo"  was the #1 selling song that year, and it was released just 2 months before the end of the year... LOL. The song was playing everywhere you could think about or go.
Shuuji to Akira is a unit, based on the drama characters. Out of the characters they are Kamenashi Kazuya from KAT-TUN and Yamashita Tomohisa formerly from NewS. AKA: Kame and YamaP.
Kame isn't my "classic"  style of boy, but YamaP was just an eyecandy and earcandy for me. It was love at first sight, watching the PV, and his voice was already my favorite while listening to the song before.
First step taken, I started searching for KAT-TUN and NewS things around the net at the holidays.
At that time, NewS was just debuted months before that, and come on, if you search for NEWS as a keyword you end up with tons of things, but none of them are what you're looking for... T_T.
KAT-TUN still didn't debut at that time, but they were really famous already.
And I can still remember when I first saw KAT-TUN at TV, while watching Music Station Super Live. They performed "She said"  and "Kizuna". And the second I saw Ueda Tatsuya I fell in love with him. Really, there's no words to say how that little second made me search for him on the screen until the performance was gone. Right after the TV show ended I was at the computer searching for them like crazy... LOL.

After that, tons of other artists fulfilled my life, but when I talk about Japanese artists, my favorite one still is Ueda. No matter the hairstyle, blond, black, orange, shaved... XD. He's such an adorable faerie and I think he will be my love for a long time.

When I had to leave Japan, I had to stop following the artists closely like I did when I was living there. Japanese record companies are strict and they don't let things around for a long time. The opposite of the Korean record companies that learned to deal with digital media and all internet can offer. Plus, any single/album made for the japanese market is more expensive than those made for the worldwide market. Ok, they have limited editions, but even the normal versions are more expensive.

Today there are few of them I still try to keep updating releases and things like that. But even those ones I have to sadly say that I just don't feel the same enthusiasm as I had before. Maybe because listening to japanese songs reminds me my happy japanese days and how much I'm unhappy now... LOL.

I'm not in the mood to search for the pics now, then I'll do it later and then update the post... or not... LOL

That's all for today: a boring post with a monologue about my musical life... XDDD

K-pop fandom

As there's not much to talk about in my life, I'll talk about what makes me happy, like my idols.

There's a lot of them, as you can see in my wallies, so there will be lots of useless posts about it... LOL

Today, just to start, I'll show you where it begun: SHINee.

I already liked other k-pop artists, but at that time, back in... 2008? I can't remember... well, back then, the artists I liked also had songs in japanese, and I started to listen them by their japanese songs, not for their korean songs. The first korean group I started loving for their korean songs only, was SHINee.

They were releasing their second single when I first saw them, and I fell in love at first sight.

Here they are:

It's from their official Youtube channel, then it will have less chances to be unavailable.

The one who stole my heart was a 14 years boy named Lee Taemin. He's the first one to appear, and at the chair dance scenes he's the one with a bowl hat. Jonghyun, the one in golden, is really gorgeous, I might even say that he's the most beautiful. But as you will see in my next posts, sometimes the most beautiful isn't my favorite one.

And this is their last release. Taemin is the one with long hair. It's extensions/wig, but suits him so well... ok, I'm way too biased to say anything about him. Like I always say: It's Taeminnie and he's perfect.

Some time ago he was in a TV show called "Immortal Song: Singing the Legends", and surprised a lot of people who didn't really know much about him. I always knew how talented he is, and that he CAN sing, but  being in a group with main/lead vocals that are so good, and being the main dancer, he's not the one who gets the spotlight when it's about singing, obviously.

This isn't from an official channel and might not be available in the future.

It's his last performance at the show.

My boy has grown from a 14 years old to a 19 young man so fast... and I'm very proud of being by his side all this time. I bought SHINee singles and albuns as much as I can to support them. But it's been so hard to do it now that I'm not working. As soon as I get a work I'll buy all the releases I don't own...

If my laziness give me a break, I'll make a longer and more complete post about SHINee. For now it's all... LOL

Gorgeous bb... XD
